Welcome to the first episode of Secret Sagas of the Multiverse a Pulp 2 Pixel Podcast!
If you are are a returning listener then don't worry. Welcome to Astro City will be returning to this feed next week with a new episode covering the Wizard #1/2 issue of Kurt Busiek's Astro City. After completing an amazing inaugural 6 episode run of Welcome to Astro City, Dead Robin and I , Doctor G the Man of Nerdology, decided to go with a palette cleanser episode. I had been playing around with the idea of a more relaxed general discussion format on a pop culture topic even before the release of the first episode of #WTAC. I also had the title ready so now seemed like the perfect time to give it a try.
Secret Sagas of the Multiverse is a comic book and pop-culture discussion show. I and my Rouges Gallery of co-hosts will take apart a single geek culture topic. We will discuss our person histories with the topic and our general impressions and recommendations. We will cover topics as comics, movies, video games, RPG's, books, and TV.
In the premiere episode of this series, Dead Robin and I will discuss the Justice League of America. We will discuss our personal continuity with the JLA from our first versions to our favorite versions and the creators that shaped them. Fans of the Detroit League and the Blue Beetle and Booster Gold era will love this episode. Also we chime in on the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the beginnings of the DC Cinematic Universe.
